Terms & Conditions
By purchasing products from Waypoints Aviation Ltd ("Waypoints") or using this website the purchaser ("customer"), agrees to the following terms and conditions of sale.
Waypoints is proud to be associated with Direct Payment Solutions Limited (DPS), New Zealand’s largest and most preferred payment gateway provider. Waypoints do not collect or store any credit card information. This information is all processed by DPS. When making a purchase you will be directed to a secure webpage hosted by DPS to enter your payment details. The DPS hosted payments page is secured using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). SSL is a method of ensuring that information submitted through our website is secure and cannot be accessed by unauthorised users. When a website offers an SSL-secured form, the information submitted via that form (typically credit card information) is encrypted using a special certificate key and then decrypted with another key after it has been transmitted. When you access a website secured with SSL using your browser, a symbol displays in your browser windows indicating that the site is secure.
All prices shown are in New Zealand Dollars and are GST exclusive. Payments from customers outside of New Zealand are required to be in New Zealand Dollars. We do not accept any other currency. Your credit card issuer may apply charges for currency conversion. Waypoints will not cover the cost of these charges or accept responsibility for any currency conversion charges.
GST (Goods and Services Tax)
For New Zealand delivery addresses, New Zealand GST (Goods and Services Tax at 15%) will be added at checkout. If your order ships to a delivery address outside New Zealand, no GST will be added.
We accept Visa and MasterCard. Please note, your credit card information is not disclosed to any other party. We can also accept payment by bank transfer using "Account to Account (A2A)". Items will be dispatched once full payment has been received and funds have been cleared.
The name that will appear on cardholder/bank statements will be Waypoints.
Incorrect Bank Account Number
Where Waypoints gives the customer the choice to pay for products through bank transfer, if the customer credits money to the incorrect bank account number, and the correct number was provided to the customer by Waypoints, then Waypoints will not accept any responsibility for correcting payment and dispatch of the goods will be delayed.
Orders to an address within New Zealand incur a fixed courier fee. This fee is $5 to the top of the South island and $9.50 to the North Island and the rest of the South Island. To an address outside of New Zealand the courier fee is automatically calculated based on the weight of items purchased and the country to which the delivery is to be made.
Sending orders to a PO Box address.
We prefer to send orders via our courier, and orders dispatched to an address within New Zealand are delivered door to door and may require a signature upon delivery. Track and Trace is standard for all orders dispatched to an address within New Zealand.
As NZ Post owns the rights to all PO Boxes our courier is unable to deliver to PO Box addresses. However, if there are no alternatives, single item orders (less than 1kg) can be sent to PO Boxes by arrangement.
All orders shipped outside of New Zealand are sent International Courier, a tracked service. Charges will be calculated and automatically applied to your order at checkout. International orders are sent at the purchaser's own risk. If the international shipping conditions do not meet your requirements, please send us an email. Due to the worldwide COVID pandemic, we are experiencing delays on overseas deliveries. Please be patient.
Customs & Duties
For any orders shipped to an address outside of New Zealand the customer is the importer of record and will be responsible for all customs import duties and local sales tax charges. These charges vary in each country and are outside of Waypoint’s control. Contact your local customs office for more information on what import duties or sales taxes may be imposed.
All orders sent within New Zealand are targeted for delivery between 3 and 5 working days. Orders shipped outside of New Zealand will normally take up to 10 working days.
Waypoints makes every practical effort to ensure that delivery timeframes given are accurate. However the delivery times stated assume that there are no unforeseen events. By placing an order, you agree not to hold Waypoints liable for any loss or damage directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with any delay or failure to deliver within the estimated time frame.
If an order is found to be mis-addressed by Waypoints then Waypoints will be responsible for the redelivery, replacement or refunding of the item(s). If the customer is found to have given an incorrect or insufficient address, then Waypoints will not refund or resend the product and all responsibility for correcting delivery will be borne by the customer.
Cancellation and Returns Policy
If you are not satisfied with the items you have ordered, please email us at email@example.com and let us know the reasons for your dissatisfaction.
Please be very careful when placing your order, we will not necessarily refund simply because you have changed your mind.
If you return your order to us within ten days of receipt, unused, with the goods undamaged and in their original packaging, we will consider offering a refund or exchange the goods for other items.
- We will only accept goods returned with prior notification through correspondence with our sales team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- We cannot guarantee that we will be willing to accept the item for return or exchange if you do not contact us via email within ten days of receiving your goods.
- All returned goods must be sent to Waypoints Aviation Ltd.
- The original invoice/receipt must accompany the returned item.
- We can only accept items returned if they are within their original packaging.
- Courier/airmail and/or credit card charges will not be refunded.
- We will not refund your return courier/airmail costs.
- We strongly advise all customers to check goods thoroughly upon receipt.
Receiving a Refund
Once your orders has been returned to us within the above stated time frame, unless otherwise authorised by the Directors at Waypoints, we will begin to process your refund request. Each item will undergo a quality control check and once verified, your refund will be processed in the original payment format as your purchase was made within 30 days of the date of cancellation notice. All undamaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchasers credit card or bank account, including GST where applicable, but excluding courier/airmail charges. You will be notified via email to the address listed on your account when the transaction has taken place. Please note that your bank institution may require additional days to process and post the transaction to your account once they have received the information from Waypoints.
Only items which Waypoints can confirm as new and unused will be eligible for a refund or exchange, so that they have reached our returns department within the time frame outlined above, unless otherwise arranged with and agreed to by Waypoints. If we receive your return in a condition which we feel is not fit for exchange or refund we shall get in touch with you to discuss next steps. Waypoints reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange for any item sent back in a condition where the item has been used or damaged.
New Zealand Law
Any goods supplied or sold by Waypoints, are sold or supplied under conditions of New Zealand Law. The Laws of sale and contract by any other country do not apply.
- Where the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply, these terms will be read subject to the application of that Act, and in the case of any conflict, the provisions of that Act will apply.
- The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply to business customers (where "business" is as defined by the Act). Business customers agree that where products are purchased for the purpose of a business that the Act does not apply.
Waypoints hereby grants you permission to access, view and download the content appearing on this site, for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to use any device, method or software to interfere with the proper functioning of this site. Without the expressed written permission of Waypoints, you may not use any device, method or software including, but not limited to: spiders, robots, avatars, agents, data mining, gathering or extraction tools and attempts to probe, scan or test or breach security and authentication measures.
Waypoints and Hothouse, our web development partner, have worked hard to make this website as user friendly and informative as possible.
