ATPL Systems and Performance (Aeroplane)

The ATPL Advanced Aerodynamics, Performance, and Systems Knowledge (Aeroplane) ground course is designed to cover the recently revised syllabus requirements of AC61-7 Appendix III (subject 48), and far more, comprising the four main areas of the subject syllabus:

  •      Advanced (High Speed) Aerodynamics;
  •      Performance;
  •      Loading; and,
  •      Systems Knowledge.

You will be provided with course notes, a course workbook, a loading and performance data booklet and with teaching sessions on each of the course components, including audio-visual presentations, videos, exercises and review questions.  The programme also includes a practice examination based on the ASPEQ exams, which is designed to give you a gauge of your knowledge as at the end of the course and to act as a learning focus tool.

Please note that it is your responsibility to organise your own sitting of the ASPEQ exam.  We recommend you schedule the exam for at least a few days after the end of the course, to give you time to absorb and review the material and to do some practice of the practical aspects of the course.
